This year’s Oktoberfest celebrations began well before October, with our charity golf tournament and pre-Oktoberfest event.
The golf tournament took place in New Dundee and although the weather was a bit chilly, everyone who participated had a great day out on the course raising money for a great cause!
Following the golf tournament was our Oktoberfest warm-up! This post event included a great dinner, a huge silent auction, games, and entertainment. All in attendance had a great time! We hope to see more of you out next year!

Our involvement in Oktoberfest 2012 was a little different this year. The Transylvania Club became the Transylvania Haus, located at a popular country bar in Kitchener, the Stampede Corral. The hall itself had a great open layout which worked very well, along with a mechanical bull, three bars, a stage, dance floor and outdoor heated patio. The capacity of both the hall and patio are over 700 so this was a chance for us to get our feet wet in a bigger venue. We all owe a huge thank you to the staff at the Stampede for their hospitality and help in making this a wonderful partnership. Despite the slow start in securing a venue this year, turnout was great! We had a line up outside the door every evening before opening. We had a blast at the Transylvania Haus and can't wait to see you all there next year! Visit our Oktoberfest page for more information.
Oktoberfest 2011 was a great success! If you weren't there, you missed out on a great year at our new venue. The Transylvania Haus was definitely the best place to be last year. In fact, it was awarded as Best Large Hall by Oktoberfest Inc. With 3 full bars, a mechanical bull, live music, a heated patio and our traditional food, we had a great year! We can't wait to see you all out next year so keep your eyes and ears open as tickets for 2012 will be available soon. 2012 promises to be a fantastic year!
